No special deal for the United Kingdom after Brexit

After the first round of trade talks yesterday, Michel Barnier has stressed that there will be no bespoke deal for the United Kingdom after Brexit. This is not a surprise to me and only emphasizes how right we were to vote OUT at the referendum.  The E.U. do not want a deal with us, not in any shape or form. They just want to make an example of us to prevent other members from leaving the union.
